Biography

Jonathan Chieppor is a former prosecutor and founding partner of Chieppor & Egner who utilizes his extensive trial experience to stand up for his clients’ rights. He is a graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law, received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph’s University, and is a proud Manheim Township High School alum.

Attorney Chieppor began his legal career in the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, quickly rising from litigating summary offenses to serious felonies. Chieppor’s experience extended to both adult and juvenile charges. Chieppor served as the Supervisor of the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force where he was the lead prosecutor on all auto theft investigations and litigation. Chieppor was also a member of the DUI Team and was undefeated in all his trials relating to DUIs.

In 2020, Chieppor and his fellow founding partner Alex Egner decided to leave the District Attorney’s Office to launch their own law firm dedicated to zealously protecting the rights of their community. Chieppor & Egner quickly became one of the top criminal defense firms in the region, appearing in court nearly every day and securing the most favorable outcomes possible for their clients.

Chieppor is a trial-hardened attorney whose extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system and depth of high-stakes experience at the District Attorney’s Office have been an invaluable resource to his clients. He is committed to delivering strong outcomes with a friendly, professional, and respectful client experience during what he knows is likely the most difficult time in his clients’ lives.

It is because of this combination of trial skill and client service that Attorney Chieppor is regularly referred new clients by former clients – as well as from members of the criminal justice system, community leaders, and other attorneys across the Commonwealth.
